Godthaabskoret (The Godthaab Choir) is a classical choir from Frederiksberg - Copenhagen / Denmark. The choir is started in 1983 and consists of about 40 members. 

The choir's repertoire consists of song by, e.g. Mendelssohn, Knut Nystedt, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Niels LaCour, Ola Gjeilo and Arvo Pärt.

Godthaabskoret is an association. Chairman of the choir is Agnete Odgaard Sørensen.

The choir's conductor is Flemming P. Jensen, who has conducted the choir since 1993. Flemming P. Jensen has been studying music at the university of Copenhagen, and is also a composer.

Concert in Prague

On Saturday the 27th of May 2017, the Godthaab Choir is singing in the St. Michael's Church in Jircháře in Prague. The music will be by: Francis Poulenc, Morten Lauridsen, Carl Nielsen, Svend S. Schultz and more.

The concert will be at 17:00 o'clock.
